Adventures in Object High : The Flight of a Fibber
Normal POV
"I GOT IT!!" Microphone bolted across her kitchen towards the home telephone on the marble counter, yelling at an almost inhumanly loud volume and nearly tripping over several wooden stools. She grabbed the vibrating receiver, almost dropping it in her haste. She removed both earbuds and stashed them in the pocket of her jeans. The phone stopped ringing as she pressed it to her ear. "Hey, Taco." She had immediately recognized the number of the Forbidden Forest Juvenile Detention Center on the LCD screen fixed to the charging station.
"Mic, it's so nice to talk with you again." Taco's British-accented voice sounded smooth and kind

Taco: Everything is great.
Everything is grand.
I've got those million dollars
In the palm of my hand!
Rocky: Everything is perfect!
My hopes are up in space!
I can't seem to wipe
This smile off my face!
Life's a happy song,
When you've got your good ol' friends to sing along!

The prospect of winning a shiny medal and an article in the district magazine seemed closer to me than ever before, as only mine and Test Tube's aircrafts remained in the course, dodging the various obstacles put in place for the competition. I had spent hours upon hours designing, building, checking and rechecking my masterpiece of aviation, and I was sure nothing would go wrong. Despite that apparent knowledge, I was still incredib

"Good morning, Object High!" Microphone's voice resounded through the speaker systems lining the hallways. "This is Mic, and I'm here with your morning announcements for today, Monday the 31st of October. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!" Her volume increased suddenly and drastically, causing most of the students to flinch, several to cover their ears, and Woody to fall out of his chair. "Sorry, speaker volume error again..." She chuckled nervously. "Anyway...don't forget to attend the 20th annual Object High Halloween party. It begins at 7:00 tonight and ends at 9. Come in full costume! Refreshments will be served and a DJ will be present."
